Orillia Seed Library

The Orillia Seed Library is a project launched in the spring of 2013, in partnership with the Orillia Public Library, and as of 2014, the Lakehead University Orillia Library.

Located on the second floor of the Orillia Public Library, and in the Library Commons at Lakehead are seeds freely available for the public to check out (borrow) and grow. Library patrons are encouraged to attend free in class and in garden workshops to learn how to successfully grow and save a variety of seeds, then to return some seeds back to the library.
